Pennsylvania GOP elects new chairman

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) The Republican Party of Pennsylvania elected a new chairman.

Lawrence Tabas was elected to lead the party at a meeting Saturday.

He promised committee members he would deliver President Donald Trump another state victory in 2020.

He succeeds Val DiGiorgio who resigned last month after sexually charged text messages he sent to a former Philadelphia City Council candidate were published in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
