Christmas tree arrives at state Capitol

Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — It’s beginning to look like Christmas at the state Capitol.

An 18-foot Douglas fir Christmas tree was brought into the Rotunda Wednesday. The tree was grown by Crystal Spring Tree Farms in Carbon County.

It will soon be decorated with ornaments made by preschoolers and senior citizens.

There will be a tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 9.
