Unemployment claims are down but prices are on a rise

(WHTM) — Economic reports from the U.S. Labor Department offer a mixed bag in terms of recovery.

First, the good news, Americans filing for unemployment claims fell for the 6th week in a row now at 376,000.

The not-so-good news? Consumer prices are up 5% over the past year. That’s the fastest growth since 2008 with the biggest increases happening in the past two months.
