Lebanon, Pa. (WHTM) – Police arrested a man they said struck a pedestrian with his car and then drove off.
It happened on June 19. Police were called to the scene of a hit-and-run on 12th and Chestnut Streets in Lebanon.
According to investigators, a vehicle traveling south on 12th Street struck a pedestrian crossing the street and fled the scene.
On June 20, officers went to the first block of Tiffany Lane to further investigate. Police located and spoke with 23-year-old Terrell Williams Jr., the accused driver of the vehicle from the hit and run.
Williams provided false information about his identity and then fled from police on foot. He was caught after a brief foot pursuit.
Police charged Williams with accidents involving death or personal injury, reckless driving, escape and false ID to law enforcement.
No word on the pedestrian’s current condition.
