Police: Teen shared marijuana-laced cookie at cheerleader sleepover

MERCERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Franklin County teenager is charged after police say she shared a marijuana-laced cookie with members of a high school cheerleading team.

Police said 18-year-old Payton Hensley had the cookie at a sleepover of the James Buchanan High School cheerleading team and shared it two other girls, ages 16 and 17.

Both girls ate pieces of the marijuana-laced cookie, state police in Chambersburg said in a news release.

Hensley, of Mercersburg, is charged with corruption of minors.
