Ric Flair wants Penn State to beat Ohio State

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Professional wrestling legend “Nature Boy” Ric Flair says he wants Penn State to defeat Ohio State in tonight’s Big Ten college football game.

“You gotta give us something for the Penn State faithful,” pressed a reporter, following an autograph signing in Harrisburg on Saturday evening.

Flair responded the only way Flair can.

“Well, I’m pulling for Penn State,” he said. “But that doesn’t matter. Nobody’s beating Michigan. WOOOooo!”

It’s not the first time Flair has commented on the Buckeyes recently. On Saturday, while serving as a guest of ESPN’s College Game Day, hosts reminded Flair of comments he’d made in February during a visit to the University of Michigan’s signing day.

“I can’t stand Ohio State,” he said.

Flair then picked Wisconsin to beat Ohio State. The Buckeyes won the game 30-23.
