Student accused of indecent assault at Penn State Harrisburg


MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – A Penn State Harrisburg student was arrested after police say he indecently assaulted another student at a party.

Akili R. Eugene, 18, of Cresco, is charged with aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

Lower Swatara Township police said the victim was drinking alcohol with friends on Oct. 8. At some point, her friends left the apartment and she was alone with Eugene when he indecently touched her.

Eugene was released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.Note: The above article previously stated that the reported incident occurred inside campus housing.
