HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Students from the International House worked hard on Saturday to clean up City Island.
They teamed up with the Harrisburg Young Professionals to clean around the island’s soccer field and sand volleyball courts.
“We have several hundred international students living in downtown Harrisburg every summer. This is a way we though would help the students learn more about the community and give them an opportunity to understand community service here in the United States”, said Harristown Enterprises President Brad Jones.
Students cut weeds, picked up trash, and painted picnic benches.
