HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Sitting on Governor Wolf’s desk is a bill that will allow parents to decide to hold back their kids in school.

Supporters of the bill say the pandemic disrupted the learning process so much that some students may be better off repeating a grade.

The bill would give parents that option and only for the upcoming school year this fall. Governor Wolf said he’s concerned about its impact on districts and is reviewing it.
