HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The campus of Harrisburg Area Community College was transformed into India Saturday.

Thousands coming out to celebrate the India Day community fair.

The fair showcased the food, art, music, and dances of the country.

Vendors sold Indian apparel, artwork, and ethnic food, allowing visitors to learn a little more about the Indian culture.

“We want to, kind of, have a relationship with all communities. That is how we expose organizations, culture, and everything. And also, we try to intervene between each other, to help each other. The main purpose is to help the local community and surrounding communities”, said MG Patel from the Asian Indian Americans of Central PA.

Last year the fair was attended by more than 12,000 people.
