(WHTM) — There are new health concerns regarding a dye used in Peeps, a popular Easter candy that is made in Pennsylvania.

Several advocacy groups want red dye number three taken out of Peeps and other food products after it was linked to health problems including cancer.

Peeps are made by Just Born Quality Confections based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
