Thunderstorms Thursday night left behind damage in Cumberland and York Counties. Strong winds, hail, rain, and lightning tore down trees, shattered windows and caused a tree to fall onto a home.
Crews worked through the night to clear roadways closed from fallen trees. Zion Road in Mount Holly Springs was covered with debris.
Residents say they lost power around 9:45 p.m Thursday. We spoke with some neighbors who didn’t get power back until 1:30 am Friday.
A tree tore through a house last night in South Middleton Twp. in Cumberland County. The home is also the Red Cardinal B&B, the homeowners tell us they were huddled in the bathroom with their 101-year-old mom during the worst part of the storm.
