Overturned tractor-trailer carrying meat on I-76 closes all Westbound lanes in Dauphin County

(WHTM) — An accident has been reported on I-76 between Lebanon-Lancaster and Harrisburg East. All westbound lanes have been closed.

According to PennDOT, a tractor-trailer carrying meat overturned, causing all lanes to close. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Traffic is slowly maneuvering around on the shoulder. PennDOT reports a backlog of traffic stretching for three to four miles.

The accident occurred at milepost 251 just past Harrisburg International Airport.

Motorists are suggested to seek alternative routes and expect delays.
