LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — There was a multi-vehicle crash on 283 eastbound near Salunga in Lancaster County, according to 511PA.

Police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the site of the accident. Upon arrival, they found seven vehicles involved including two tractor-trailers, a transit van, three passenger cars, and one construction vehicle.

According to the police report, the transit van came to stop in the right eastbound lane, resulting in one of the tractor-trailers striking it from behind resulting in a chain-reaction crash.

Two of the drivers involved were taken to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.

Shortly after 11 a.m., all lanes were closed due to the incident, which occurred between the Salunga and 722/Landisville exits.

As of 1:40 p.m., PennDOT says all lanes have reopened and the incident has cleared.
