(WHTM) — On Tuesday night around 8:50 p.m. a crash occurred on I-83 between exits 41B to Lemoyne and 40B to New Cumberland.
All southbound lanes were closed as a result of a tractor-trailer tipping over.
According to PennDOT officials, the tractor-trailer was carrying large rolls of plastic wrap which rolled over in the North ramp to 581 West. The trailer itself was breached and came to rest on the median barrier.
PennDOT also reports that there is a ruptured fuel tank, with diesel fuel spilling on to the road.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash and the roadway was reopened early Wednesday morning.
