CHRISTIANA, Pa. (WHTM) – Update: Police arrested Lucas Newnam Saturday around noon.

Police are currently investigating the case.

The manner and cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.Previously Reported:

Police were dispatched to a shooting in Lancaster County Friday evening.

Police found the victim, 26-year-old Julius Dale, dead along Creek Road in Christiana.

Police said that 30-year-old Lucas Newnam shot Dale during an argument before fleeing the residence.

There is a warrant out for Newnam’s arrest and police are actively searching for him.

Newnam is considered armed and dangerous.
