Tyson Inc. recall 12 million pounds of Frozen chicken strips that may contain metal


Tyson Inc is expanding the recall of their frozen chicken strips due to the fact they may contain metal.

As of May 5th, the recall affects 12 million pounds of food. The ready to eat chicken strips products were shipped nationwide.

In March, when it was first announced, over 69 thousand pounds were included in the recall.  

Now it affects products produced with the used by dates of October 1st, 2019 through March 7th, 2020.

Customers are urged to throw away or return products under the recall.
