NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. (WHTM) – A cold front that blew through central Pennsylvania sent temperatures tumbling – but that’s not all that fell.

In New Cumberland, strong wind gusts Wednesday afternoon caused a tree to snap and fall into a home on 15th Street.

The tree sheered off part of the roof.

A couple and their elderly mother were inside at the time.

They were not injured, but the home needs repairs before they can go back inside.
