Pedestrian finds motorcyclist dead in Newberry Township

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – According to a York County coroner, an adult male was found dead from a motorcycle accident in Newberry Township Thursday.

The motorcyclist has been identified as Paul Swartz, 56, of Wormleysburg.

A pedestrian passerby had reportedly found a body of an adult male and a motorcycle. They reported that it was not easily visible from the roadway in the area of Red Mill Road and Pleasant View Drive.

Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner was dispatched to the location at around 11:00 a.m. and determined that it was a single motorcycle crash and no other vehicles were involved. Kirchner said that the body appeared to have been there for a day or more.
