(WHTM)– Pennsylvania American Water has just lifted the mandatory water conservation order that was triggered by a diesel spill into the Conodoguinet Creek earlier this month.
Although the water was safe to drink, the company had to take its Silver Spring Water treatment plant offline.
This led it to issue the mandatory conservation order for customers in multiple West Shore communities.
