The Englewood is a historic bank barn that has been restored into a listening room-style concert venue with state-of-the-art custom lights and audio created and installed by the renowned team at Clair Brothers, and a theater-size screen that currently features soccer and football, for our avid sports fans.

The on-site brewery is run by Head Brewer Jesse Prall, and a source of fresh, sought after craft beers from our taps only, including to-go crowlers, which you can pick up from the store.

The first-come, first-seated restaurant serves fresh fare created from locally/regionally sourced ingredients, and features a wide range of options like the popular barn burger, wood fired clams, brick oven pizzas, and several vegan options.

Jake and Candy Moore are central pa natives. As Jake neared retirement at his job with the PA Dept. of Corrections after 27 years, they were looking for the next chapter in their lives. After exploring many options, they started to dig deeper into the Teriyaki Madness franchise business model and menu and decided they wanted to be the first to bring the menu to Pennsylvania.

We loved the idea of a fast casual and healthy alternative to typical burgers and pizza fast food. We settled on Chambersburg to open our restaurant and Chambersburg has not let us down! We were greeted with a loyal customer base and, solid work force, and a very desirable location.

It all started with a dare. Donald M. Denlinger placed a bid on nineteen 25-ton N-5 cabooses being sold as surplus from the Pennsylvania Railroad in the summer of 1969. Don had a vision to build The Red Caboose Motel and Restaurant along the Strasburg Rail Road. The official grand opening made history in 1970.

Fast forward to 2016, the iconic Red Caboose Motel and Restaurant was bought by the Prickett family. Continuing Don’s legacy and motto, “We hope syou enjoy your stay,” the Prickett’s take great pride in providing an exceptional experience for all of their guests.

Casey Jones’ Restaurant at The Red Caboose Motel is one of the most unique restaurants in not just the state…but the country! Here you can eat in an actual Pennsylvania Rail Road P-70 coach car (we have two!) Another bonus: The Strasburg Rail Road steams right past our front door and we currently offer inside dining, heated deck dining, carry-out and even room service. And yes, the dining car still shakes!

We’re open daily, year-round for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy delicious food with incredible views of the Amish Farmland. From our Southern Rail Burger, to our pulled pork sandwich doused with our signature Casey’s Birch Beer BBQ Sauce. You’ve never had anything like Grandma Peiffer’s Blue-Ribbon Crumb Cake.
