After over a decade of service in the NFL, former Dover High and Shippensburg football standout John Kuhn announced his retirement on Wednesday.

Kuhn played 12 years in the NFL, nine of those seasons as a Green Bay Packer. Although he played his final season with the Saints, Kuhn made his retirement official as a Packer. He was a part of the 2010 Super Bowl team and made three Pro Bowls in for Green Bay, while also being named a first team All-Pro in 2014. The 36 year-old began his pro career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
