A Trinity squad that has had an up and down season, had an up and down game in Week 9, suffering a 41-6 loss against Middletown.

Despite the final score, the Shamrocks were only down by 13 in the second half. On their second possession of the half, they put together some big plays that ended in an Ethan Notarfrancesco touchdown to make it 13-6. But, Middletown responded with a Tajae Broadie 50-yard rushing TD to pull ahead, 20-6. Middletown wouldn’t look back as they went on to win the game, 41-6.
