HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Bishop McDevitt hopes to avenge their 2021 State Title loss to Aliquippa this season, and that largely rests on the shoulders of now-sophomore QB Stone Saunders.
There’s a sour taste in the Crusaders’ mouths as they start the 2022 high school football season. McDevitt finished the 2021 season with a 12-2 record as the PIAA Class 4A State Runners-Up.

Friday Night Football returns for its 26th season on abc27. Started in 1997 by longtime abc27 Sports Director Gregg Mace, FNF was the first of its kind in Central PA.
Back in 2018, the show was expanded to 45 minutes of highlights, analysis and reaction. It remains the longest show in the Midstate highlighting high school football for thirteen weeks of the season.
