Penn State’s offense looks to balance explosive plays

Michigan might have outgained Penn State on paper, but it is the scoreboard that counts.

Penn State relied on explosive plays to put up the points against the Wolverines in its 28-21 whiteout win Saturday.

The Nittany Lions have relied on explosive plays at times to score on offense. Coach James Franklin says the team’s offense has to balance those long balls with attacking a defense’s weaknesses.
