Penn State will hold its annual Blue White game next weekend.
It is a chance to get a sneak peek at who will replace the program’s winningest quarterback: Trace McSorley.
Penn State coach James Franklin said previously Tommy Stevens will start the spring at the top of the depth chart. Stevens is coming off of surgery that kept him from tripping to the Citrus Bowl.
Last season, backup Sean Clifford saw playing time when Stevens was out with the injury. Also, coaches and players have mentioned Will Levis at times this spring. Levis spent last season redshirting and running the scout team.
All three quarterbacks look to impress fans and coaches during the spring game. Two freshman enrolled early at quarterback as well: Ta’Quan Roberson and Michael Johnson Jr.
Watch the video above to hear McSorley’s evaluation of the quarterback room.
