Penn State guard transferring to another Big Ten team


One Penn State women’s basketball player will transfer to another Big Ten team.

Freshman Jayla James is leaving PSU behind to join the Michigan State Spartans she announced Monday.

She played in 18 games as a freshman this past season for Penn State. James averaged 3.8 minutes per game and had a career-high three points against Princeton on December 14.
