(WHTM) — This National Signing Day is marked by one of the best classes in Penn State recruiting history, with notable players coming from Central PA. CD East’s Mehki Flowers, Manheim Township’s Anthony Ivey, Central York’s Beau Pribula, and Governor Mifflin’s Nick Singleton all signed the dotted line to play for the Nittany Lions in 2022.

The Sports Extra Podcast is joined by W.H.O.L.E. founder Darryl Daniel, who trains athletes to make the transition to college. Daniel has worked with top guys in the Midstate like Singleton, Beau Heyser and Ivey.

Darryl played wide receiver for Conestoga Valley where he was a two time All-American and Big 33 MVP.

He received a full scholarship to play at Syracuse University, where he developed into a three-year starter and played in four bowl games.

His football career took him to the NFL where he played for the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Darryl founded W.H.O.L.E. Sports Training Academy on the principles that afforded him so much success: Hard work, Focus and Dedication.
