TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy, Mild. Low 32. Winds: W 5-10 mph.
MONDAY: Mostly Cloudy, Breezy. Hi 44. Winds: NW 10-15 mph.
TUESDAY: Passing Clouds, Breezy. Hi 42. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.
Partly cloudy skies continue tonight as it will remain breezy. Temperatures will only drop off to around freezing, which is about 10 degrees above the normal low temperature.
The highlight of this work week will be how quiet the weather will be thanks to an expansive area of high pressure. No precipitation is forecast from Monday through Friday as temperatures stay fairly steady. It will turn more seasonable as we head toward mid-week and a series of weak fronts cross. Highs on average will be near 40 with overnight lows eventually trending into the 20s by Wednesday.
The next round of precipitation likely wouldn’t come until next weekend, and there remains plenty of uncertainty with that. Models hint at some sort of coastal system, but how far north it comes and do we even stay cold enough for snow remains a mystery. Much like this weekend turned out, I wouldn’t get hopes up for a big snow, but we’ll continue to monitor how the cold air trends ahead of the storm. In the meantime, no big warm ups or sharp cool downs in sight.
