TONIGHT: Clearing Skies, Less Humid. Lo 51. Winds: W 5-15 mph. Gusts to 25 mph.
TUESDAY: Sunny, Breezy, & Less Humid. Hi 73. Winds: W 10-15 mph. Gusts to 30 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Showers Develop After Sunset. Hi 70. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.
We saw some showers and storms move through this afternoon, but fortunately all stayed sub-severe. Drier air is moving in this evening which means clearing skies and lowering humidity. Overnight lows will dip back near seasonable levels in the low 50s. Tuesday will offer lots of sunshine and comfortable highs in the low 70s. It will be breezy however with gusts upwards of 30 mph.
Wednesday will feature increasing clouds as a disturbance approaches from the west. Expect some showers to move in Wednesday night with gradually clearing skies Thursday. Conditions remain comfortable until then, but the heat and humidity turns up this weekend. Highs Friday soar back into the 80s with 90 degrees expected Saturday as a strong ridge of high pressure takes over.
With the heat will also come the opportunity for at least a stray storm Friday and then again late Saturday, depending on how quickly the next cold front approaches. Behind the front, things should trend drier Sunday afternoon but it will be cooler early next week with highs back into the 70s.
