EVENING: Clearing skies and milder. Temps in the 60s.

TONIGHT: Clearing skies and seasonable. Low 50.

THURSDAY: Morning sunshine, afternoon clouds. High 74.

We are finally seeing sunshine in parts of the Midstate this evening. Not all locations, but its a sign that our stretch of dreary weather is coming to an end.

Skies continue to clear tonight and we start our Thursday sunny and seasonable. Temperatures will climb into the 70s for the afternoon as clouds increase. We do not expect any rain from these clouds, or any showers from the cold front that arrives on Friday. The front will create a breezy afternoon and evening so keep this in mind for any Friday evening plans.

This front will also bring a cool and crisp weekend with highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s. Fortunately, it will also be sunny so it will truly feel like a fall-like weekend.

A look ahead to next week shows a chance for patchy valley frost Monday morning with quiet and dry conditions lasting for most of next week.
